With a single all-season-rated top duvet attached directly to the bed via coil crash zips, a new frame designed to combat stability issues and high-quality sleeping bag, pillow and drawstring accoutrements to keep warm air in, it’s one of the best fishing bedchairs on the market. The fleece lining on the duvet, internal hand warmer pockets and internal baffle are all designed to keep you seriously warm. Particularly when combined with a foot drawstring and drawstring hood to help you tighten up and keep the cold air out.
Lighter than the excellent Fox R-Series Camo Sleep System, Sonik’s SK-TEK manages to maintain a comparable level of stability and warmth, without almost 25% of the weight. Obviously, this makes it a little easier to transport and whilst both sleep systems are excellent, if you need to carry a bedchair any kind of distance, this bedchair is a great option. It isn’t quite as comfortable or stable, but it’s still excellent.
