The internal storage is excellent and the mini lure boxes are fantastic when fishing in rivers for perch and jack pike. It can absolutely fit larger lure boxes in there too and is superbly convenient when lure fishing for bass too. HTO’s Light Game Shoulder Bag is a really excellent budget option for LRF lovers. It has a surprising number of compartments and – although everything is held together by plastic clips – the bag is surprisingly durable. The surplus of outer pockets and clips is a nice touch, but you wouldn’t be able to hang a medium-sized travel net on the bag with any real sense of security.
In terms of absolute quality, this bag is not quite as premium as others on the list and the price point reflects that. It does feel slightly more vulnerable to conditions and the fabric itself is 420D – 30% less resistant than the more expensive models on the list. But it’s still a really good bag for the money.
