Patagonia Swiftcurrent Ultralight Stockingfoot Waders
Patagonia’s Swiftcurrent Ultralight Stockingfoot Waders are the best waders when it comes to packing light. Longer trips and warmer weather mean you aren’t looking for dense neoprene waders that take up a lot of space and weigh a proverbial ton. You’re looking for a lightweight, convenient option that does the job and these Patagonia waders more than do that.

Description
Patagonia’s Swiftcurrent Ultralight Stockingfoot Waders are the lightest, in our opinion most convenient fishing waders on the market. If you’re looking for some slimline, lightweight, ultra-packable waders for everyday fly fishing then you can’t go far wrong with these. Like most Patagonia waders the single-seam construction makes for particularly free movement. Where these ultralights stand out from the Expedition and the traditional Swiftcurrents is, unsurprisingly, the weight. Roughly half the weight of both and more comparable to Patagonia’s Wading Pants than anything else. Except these are chest-high.
Whilst these waders are not the most durable in the range, they are designed for speed rather than strength if you catch our drift. It even packs away into a burrito-style bag, like a mac-in-a-sac, which is amazing for transportation. But the reinforced scuff guards do give some additional protection against the elements. All in all they’re an excellent pair of waders, well worth their place on our best fishing waders page.
