Orvis Pro BOA Wading Boot is one of the best fishing boots around and certainly the best-fitting fishing boot on the market. A collaborative effort between Orvis and Michelin (which is not a collaboration we thought we were missing), the BOA Fit System features a tightening wheel as opposed to traditional laces, tightening the entire boot to fit snugly around your feet. The higher-cut nature of the boot provides very good ankle support and the insole is made in collaboration with OrthoLite, to provide outstanding arch support.
Whilst this boot is specifically built for fly fishing, the revolutionary new sole design has some of the best grip on the market. With a Michelin Outdoor Extreme outsole that offers 25% better abrasion resistance and a 43% improvement in wet rubber traction compared to more traditional boots. The wider sole creates a wider platform and the option to add more studs for increased points of contact on slippery ground. A top-of-the-line boot you need to pay top dollar for.
