Decathlon’s own fishing brand Caperlan makes some really hardy, good-value products and the Fishing Backpack and Chest Pack is no different. This 3-in-1 lure fishing solution (backpack, chest pack and storage belt) is a comfortable, accessible storage solution. The backpack itself has a 15-litre capacity and the chest packs 5 – ample for storing essential lures and terminal tackle in the front and is designed for quick changes. It’s unequivocally one of the best lure-fishing rucksacks out there.

The backpack section also comes complete with:

• An outer zip pocket
• Two outer mesh pockets
• One inner zipped pocket
• One inner open pocket

Which is more than enough to hold a water bottle, rod and all manner of lure-fishing accessories. And – arguably my favourite feature – the two-pocketed chest pack has a hard shell that you can use to tie rigs or cut things with an element of precision.

Just behind Savage Gear’s Lure Specialist Rucksack, this is the best bag on the market. But if you’re looking for something equally convenient, but cheaper, Caperlan’s Dual Fishing Chest Pack is worth a lok.
