Columbia Men’s PFG Henry’s Fork V Vest is an excellent fishing vest. It comes in two different colourways – fossil or carbon – and runs slightly loose. The medium is very roomy and the polyester, water-repellent material is great in all conditions. It isn’t waterproof but doesn’t seem to absorb any water and the stain repellency is very important if your fishing buddy happens to spill beer all over it.
There are so many pockets it’s almost possible to completely lose different items of tackle: scissors, pliers, lure boxes, and leader. There’s nothing you can’t fit in this vest. It has the capacity to completely remove the need for a backpack, even on long trips. The back pocket is an absolute favourite of ours as it’s roomy enough to cater to any box, tackle or sandwich-related needs. A truly excellent vest from Columbia’s excellent PFG range.
