Abu Garcia’s Droppen Fishing Lures are superb for targeting jack pike, perch, trout, and all manner of predatory coarse fish on lighter tackle. These lightweight spinners are really excellent when it comes to metal quality, durability, and hookups. As spinners go it isn’t quite as effective as Savage Gear’s Fat Tail Spin Fishing Lure, but a fantastic option nonetheless. As a beginner, taking a lighter rod and reel combination and some 6 – 8lb line is a great way to target predators in smaller streams.
