Vass’s Hybrid 700 Wader combines the tougher Vass-Tex 700 material on the lower section with the lightweight Vass-Tex 350 material upper. This is designed to increase puncture and abrasion resistance on your lower half (where wear and tear is more commonplace) without increasing excess weight. It’s a smart design and the Vass welded seams and the material itself are at the more durable end of the market. Particularly at this price.
The durable, built-in Vass boots are equally impressive when it comes to durability. Whilst they aren’t the very best pair of waders on the market – that’s probably Snowbee’s Prestige STX Studded Felt Sole Chest Waders or Caperlan’s Fishing 4mm Neoprene Waders 900 Thermo – they’re about as durable as they come. Perfect for particularly harsh conditions and one of the best fishing waders on the market.
